SPM students counting down to their first day of exams...... while I on the other hand, count down till I get home *sniggers* :P

Another 24 hours till my first paper. 

Please pray that I will do well and wish me luck! ;D

I really think I'm very lucky & blessed [no lah TM.. nothing Christian about this okay!] this semester, because:

1. I found this semester much better, less taxing..
   
2. I became firm friends with Chyong Ying again..
   
3. I had my aunt's friends and my dear cousins who looked out for me when my aunt was away
   
4. I had friends who were concerned about me when I lived alone without my aunt
   
5. Although I didn't get the job I applied for at RWH, but it was all for a good cause as it meant that I could go home for 3 whole months
   
6. When I almost gave up on the internships as I only applied for PWC and KPMG [w/o results, terlupa!] and seeing everyone had received replies, whether accepting or rejecting.. I gave it one last shot by emailing them to check on the status of it and in 2 days, I received a call saying I got in!!
   
7. Although this means giving up my flight to Penang and trip to Tioman with my family, but its worth it
   
8. I found a study partner, CY ;D
   
9. On my way home from Melb Uni with cousins and nephew, I saw a DOUBLE RAINBOW!  Side-by-side!  As one was fading away, the other got brighter and brighter!
   
10. I am a lot calmer and slightly more confident than I've been in the past for exams [though am not sure why]
    
11. I received an iPod from a friend as an early Xmas present
    
12. I have a friend who will be picking me up from the airport
    
13. I have Ling who will be at my door step when I arrive home
    

OMG I'M A BUNDLE OF NERVES NOW.  WHYYYYYYYYYYYYY.....!!!!!!!!!!??????

I'm feeling really happy!

Received a phonecall from PWC Malaysia just now regarding the VT position I applied.  I GOT IT!  Yay!  Its under the Taxation Dept though.. but heck, who cares, its a valuable experience all the same!  Lets see if Malaysian Taxation Law and the working environment actually sparks an interest in me.. nuff said on my unit of Tax Law I did last semester ;X

So.. no Tioman and Penang.. sigh.. oh well.. not getting a job here isn't so bad afterall!!  Will apply to the Royal Bank next year. 

Are you feeling lucky?  I am.  And considerably calm.  *boLeh!*

Bumped into Diana today, was good seeing her again hehe.. hope to catch up with her after the exams!

Anyone feeling generous?  Donate to Charity @ Peter's Hair-for-Hospice Campaign .  He and a few other bloggers have pledged their hair for the campaign ;D  Once a target of RM 5000 is received, they will shave their heads bald!  And for Peter, his head of hair is his pride *so to speak* .. its super long!!

Now that that's out of the way..

My mom told me they found one of our tortoises in the garden.  Turns out that it is the same one which ran away previously, so my dad made a 2ft high enclosure to prevent it from running away again.  Mana tahu this morning, it managed to climb up and ran away again!!  This is what I call, Ninja turtle tortoise!

Fuel prices here are seriously a lot like watching the stock market I reckon.  Its like a competition, between you, the one with the car, and the petrol provider.  See who can tahan longer!  Hence sometimes looking at my aunt's fuel level, it is rather worrying ^_______^ but Proton cars got light to indicate MESTI REFILL!

Wahlaoeh.. don't know what kind of huge-ass mosquitoes they have here, I have 3 bites on my feet and they itch until today!  Since last Thursday leh.. I remember wondering what bit me, cuz it was so itchy, then when I looked down, I saw a BIG FAT MOSQUITOE ON MY ARM!  squashed the bloody thing!

This article on The Star online reflects the unsung heroes of our country.  I mean, how many of us would pledge our organs eh?  The thought of yourself dying is already a very sad thought, what more having people operate on you to remove your internal organs and then sew you up again, then only bury*.  But then again, I suppose we don't really know how it feels to be in need of something so vital to continue living, being the perfect beings we are.  I am extremely thankful for that.

Noting Peter's Hair-for-Hospice campaign, there was an awards thingie for the "unsung heroes" here in VIC as well, and this young boy of erm.. 13? something like that lah.. can't remember shaved his head 3 times for a particular cancer fund.  I still think it is somewhat easier for a man to pledge his hair than a woman.. I mean, guys shaving their heads.. aiya.. Lick Hung is a very good example la.. so young also practically botak :p then you have some footballers etc.. not to mention BBallers.  But women, most of us depend on the hair to look good, feel good etc.. drastic weh!
